Hook Head, Co. Wexford is home to the oldest working lighthouse in Europe, dating from the 13th century. Like all the other lighthouses in Ireland, it's now automated. They have converted the old lighthouse keepers' accommodation into a vistor's centre and opened the lighthouse to the public.
