Photographer's Note

Let me ask you few questions:
- how many times you felt like your photo-journey was a disaster because of the weather?
- how many times you've seen beautiful places but cound't get your camera out because it was raining heavily and there was no point really?
- how many times you were soaked and questionned youself why didn't you pick up another hobby???....

Well this is how I felt when I took this shot. It was a beautiful scene, nice place, loads to pohotograph but the weather... DISASTER! And my camera is not water-resistant, so I was really conscious to take it out. But I got a fantastic reward for my sacrifice - it's the Golden Eagle.
The Eagle is one of the best known birds of prey in the Northern Hemisphere. It has a wingspan averaging over 2 m (7 ft) and up to 1 m (3 ft) in body length. It can attack its victim with a speed of 160 km/h - can you imagine such speed? Beautiful model!

Anyway I took this photo in Glenveagh National Park Really nice pleace - if the weather is good!

It's one of my favourite photos, so I've decided to upload it as my 200th PHOTO in my TE Gallery. I'm with you 9 mths, so thanks to All of you Guys for visiting my Gallery and sharing your opinions!

Cheers!

PS. I'm not sure if you know, but White Eagle is the national emblem of Poland :)
