The River Nore (One of the Three Sister Rivers). The Nore,rises in Nth Tipperary and flows through 5 Counties: Tipperary,Laois,Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford, where it enters the sea at Passage East.
It is seen here along the N10 as it enters the Town of Kilkenny on it banks can be seen the "Old Mill Ruins" Further along towards the town is the Towers of the kilkenny castle, One of the best ways to see the sights along the banks of the "Nore" is by boat. The flat bottom boat is called a "Cot"
