Photographer's Note

Cactus on display in the "Cactus & Succulent House" National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Dublin.
This structure is attached to the great Palm House which also includes the Orchid House and date from 1795 when it was founded by the "Royal Dublin Society"
It has been a public institution since 1878 and is run by the office of public works. Free tours are available every sunday at 12 noon and 2-30pm

Hi Dermot,

I find those cactus very interesting in their shapes and how they work with water. I like the simplicity of the shot but at the same time its efficiency. Great work!
