Photographer's Note

Situated in the West of Ireland in County Galway, Connemara National Park covers some 2,957 hectares of scenic mountains, expanses of bogs, heaths, grasslands and woodlands. Some of the Park's mountains, namely Benbaun, Bencullagh, Benbrack and Muckanaght, are part of the famous Twelve Bens or Beanna Beola range. Connemara National Park was established and opened to the public in 1980.

Much of the present Park lands formed part of the Kylemore Abbey Estate and the Letterfrack Industrial School, the remainder having been owned by private individuals. The southern part of the Park was at one time owned by Richard (Humanity Dick) Martin who helped to form the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals during the early 19th century. The Park lands are now wholly owned by the State and managed solely for National Park purposes.

Very good light for this nice, but normal landscape. You´ve made a very good shot out of a normal place. Congratulations.

Belle association entre le bleu et le vert qui prenne quasiment toute la photo,bien illuminé par un soleil superbe et le tour est joué,bravo.

The is a nice landscape shot with the water leading the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has fine sharpness.

Czesc Pawel,
bardzo przyjemny relaksujacy krajobraz z Connemara.
Podoba mi sie ten maly bialy domek na horyzoncie i na pewno sprobowalbym tutaj rwniez uzyc teleobiektywu zeby domek wylowic. Ladna rzucajaca sie w oczy kompozycja pelna zywych kolorow. Jeden z problemow ktore sa wina HDRu jest lekko widoczny a mianowicie przy silnym wietrze trawa na pierwszym planie sie rusza i niektore zdzbla trawy sa powielone. Niestety wiatr w Irlandii jest prawie zawsze i sam doswiadczam tego problemu niezmiernie czesto.

Bardzo podoba mi sie to zdjecie - idealnie skadrowales ten widok, krajobraz jest bardzo piekny, wspaniale kolory! Taka Irlandie rzadko mozna podziwiac.
