Photographer's Note
Bunratty Castle, meaning "Castle at the Mouth of the Ratty" is a large tower house in County Clare, Ireland. It lies in the center of Bunratty village, by the N18 road between Limerick and Ennis, near Shannon Town and its airport. The name Bunratty, Bun Raite (or possibly, Bun na Raite) in Irish, means the 'bottom' or end of the 'Ratty' river. This river, alongside the castle, flows into the nearby Shannon estuary. From the top of the castle, one can look over to the estuary and the airport. The castle and the adjoining folk park are run by Shannon Heritage.

Hello Pawel,
Although the blue sky adds more beauty to every shot, in this shot the cloudy sky is more consistent with the castle. You really managed very well the distortion of the wide angle lens. TFS.

Hello Pawel ,
Not so easy to capture the light with such a bad weather . And yu've did it superbly . The compositiion is excellent , in this vertical format , with the luminous leaves in the FG .

Hello Pawel,
I am one of those who really like dark skies in photos. These black clouds fit the grey, almost black old castle very well and they give the river a wonderful brown tone. The composition is good, with the stone wall and the green and yellow leaves in the foreground on a diagonal line opposing the river bank. The inn looks like a nice place to go on a chilly day.

Gert

Pawel,
The vertical format works great here creating depth for the scene. The dark sky provides good contrast for the yellow building. The plants lead the eye into the shot perfectly. The lighting and colors are good and the photo has fine sharpness.

Czesc Pawel,
superfajna kompozycja. Zamek sam w sobie jak to irlandzkie zamki, ale cala otoczka i wykonanie perfekcyjne.
Swietna obrobka: doskonale detale, swietnie podkreslone niebo a zarazem wszystko jak najbardziej naturalne. Wrecz czuc prawdziwie irlandzka atmosfere. Pierwszy plan doskonale zaplanowany tworzy urocza dagonalna linie. Widze ze sam rog lekko wyszedl nieostro: mnie tez sie to niestety zdarza z moim szerokim katem. Rzeka bardzo ladnie wkomponowana w kadr dodaje rowniez uroku.
Wspaniala praca, nic dodac nic ujac, gratulacje,
M

Hi Pawel
A very fine, nicely balanced picture in a lovely soft light. Beautifully composed shot with good sense of depth with nice foliage in the fg which lead viewers towards the castle and beyond. Great dof with much detail sharpness and textures Lovely color contrast and balance between grey sky and brownish river. Clarity and sharpness are superb, good exposure control. Excellent color saturation and contrast. Nice nice landscape, Congrats, TFS
