Green vs Grey, a photo from Kerry, Sud

The Connor Pass offers incredible scenery. At the top of the road, there is a small car park from where you can look down on the valley. The weather was bad with big dark clouds all around but there. This brought enough light to shoot some photos.

I like this one for its contrast between the green grass and the grey sky, so typical of Ireland. I used a fast shutter speed and an aperture of 2.8. I the have done some minor adjustment to emphasise the green.

Hello Max,
I like this one a lot! The slowly rolling landscape broken by steeper hills... all in the different shades of green typical for Ireland. The diagonal lines created by waterway and road in the valley add dynamics. Well done...

Wow, you have a very green version of the Conor pass here! My pics of it are much more brownish/yellow! Very nice also like that...I agree the view is absolutely amazing from there..on both sides (towards Dingle also!)! Cheers, Léonie

An area on my list of places to visit - soon.
Nice capture. If the sky is uninteresting it's worth considering minimising its impact by re-composing (perhaps even keeping it out of shot alltogether).

Maybe landscape mode would have worked better here...
