Flower on the Wall, a photo from Kerry, Sud

Photographer's Note

This picture was taken in Castle Gregory in Ireland. my reasoning for taking this picture was due to the isolated nature of the flowers surroundings. This was the only flower of this type in this area, which is on the out skirts of a garden on a seafront path.

i really like this photo :) ... the simplicity of it that gives the feeling of beauty and delicacy (if that's the word) ... it's just really nice ...
u can try to take the same photo, the same frame, proportions, and everything but from a bit further and with a longer focal length ,,, would flatten it a bit ...
if u could try take it and show me the result i'd be glad ;)

Good composition. I like the contrast between the colors of the flower and the color of teh wall. I might crop a bit of the top of the, but not too much so that it still has a rectangular shape. And a small detail, it seems more focused on the wall than on the flower. But, I like it a lot. Regards, Yvonne

I'm attracted to these types of photo more and more - simple compositions with harmonious colours.
This one has the added bonus of a textured wall.
I think I'd have done a bit of gardening and moved the long blade of grass!
