Questa è Porto Venere (o più comunemente, ma meno correttamente Portovenere), una vera perla della Liguria.Ma non parlerò di questo meraviglioso posto, bensì dell'isola di Palmaria, il POV da cui ho tratto questa immagine.Ore 7:20 del mattino, primo vaporetto per l'isola preso.Due notti passate in un Bed and Breakfast di Porto Venere, a soli 3 Km in linea d'aria da casa mia, solo per poter godere di questo magnifico posto prima che le orde di turisti lo invadessero.Ne valeva la pena.Gabbiani, capre selvatiche, falesie a strapiombo su un mare meraviglioso.Il silenzio a ritemprare l'anima.Come essere lontani migliaia di Km stando solo a pochi passi da casa.Un luogo selvaggio e mistico allo stesso tempo.Un'isola greca in terra italiana.Consiglio assolutamente di visitarlo.La veduta su Porto Venere è la migliore possibile, come si evince dalla foto.

This is Porto Venere (or more commonly but less correctly Portovenere) , a real pearl of Liguria.But i am not going to talk about this wonderful place, but rather about Palmaria Island, the POV from which i took this picture.7.20 am, first ferry to the island.Two nights spent in a Bed and Breakfast of Porto Venere, just 3 Km (1,8 miles) as the crow flies from my house, only to be able to enjoy this beautiful place before hordes of tourists crowd in it.It was worthwhile.Seagulls, wild goats, sheer cliffs on a wonderful sea.Silence to restore the soul.As being thousands of miles abroad while remaining just a few steps from home.A place wild and mystical at the same time.I absolutely suggest to visit it.View on Porto Venere is the best possible, as can be seen from the picture.

Ciao Alessio, vista molto buona di questo posto molto interessante e bello, con la prima luce del giorno, molto ben catturato con un grande POV in questa eccellente e bella fotografia. The photo is beautiful but what i like the most is your descriptive note, that you took the first ferry to capture this beauty before hordes of tourists filled in. I really must see Cinque Terre and the surrounding areas one day. Really wonderful...

e hai straragione

la foto è molto bella ma l'importante è il paese, illuminato dal sole prima che le orde di turisti della giornata e della stagione lo invadano. Io non vado più in liguria in estate da anni e non me ne pento, anche se è un peccato, perchà ha scorci, luoghi e vedute segrete, spettacolari, con un odore e una magia unici.

I just came across your gallery because this fine image caught my attention. It is a very well composed impression of this famous place but created with the eyes of the artist. Fantastic light and wonderful and harmonious colors. It is especially this light of the early morning that makes this image attractive. Congratulation!

Splendida ripresa di portovenere colta in una luce dorata che rende che accende le sue case e scalda anche le acque antistanti la Palmaria.

Hello Alessio - this is a really beautiful POV at the perfect time of day. The golden glow on the town is wonderful, and amazingly seems to simply stop at the edge where the rock face begins! A really impressive arrangement. I have never been to Italy, but I see so many amazing small towns like this one crowded in between hill and ocean; so many wonderful sights and photographic opportunities. Someday I hope to see them in person!

J'ai beaucoup aimé ce village coloré en bord de mer. Malheureusement il ne faisait pas aussi beau que pour toi. Les couleurs et la lumière sont vifs comme un diamant.

You clicked this at the right time indeed, the golden light is amazing and has helped you produce some rich colours together with cluster of brightly illuminated houses creating a ssuperb contrast to the scene. The fantastic reflections in the water is a real bonus adding to the sensation. Excellent depth of field and the sharpness is also perfect. An awesome shot, well taken. Congrats.
