Final touches to the Christmas decorations of this piadineria-pastry shop from the heart of Bergamo Alta, the photo is not of great quality but is intended as a tribute to all the shopkeepers who have suffered a lot due to the pandemic and to whom I wish the best for the holiday business , reminding everyone that the light show is always offered by them and not by Amazon.

Ciao Luciano,
Nice tribute to those who have suffered so much and lost a lot. Ironically we learned from the pandemic who is really a key worker. Sadly medicine doctors, those who supposedly chose their careers to save people, they shut their practices first. And shopkeepers, mailmen etc had to work while doctors stay away from people.
That is a shame but we could learn from that a lot.
Nice colors of the clothing contribute to the seasonal scene,

This kind of snapshot from the street would count as a "nothing special", but I fully understand your ideas expressed in the note. So many businesses have suffered from the pandemic, and most probably the troubles are far from over, so I appreciate this kind of dedication to all those who just want to get their economic lives together. It's a nice photo (with a gentleman in red), which means the most.

A very suitable photo for this time of year.
The lady is putting the finishing touches to the Christmas decorations and the lights are already on.
Is your bar also decorated for the holidays?
I believe there is currently no lockdown of any kind in Italy. In Belgium, the catering industry has to close at 11 pm (in anticipation of a drastic reduction in the number of infections).

This festive season supposed to be an amazing time of the year ...
Like this shot , the pastry shop-owners making the best Christmas decorations for the customers to feel the merry festive spirit 'sparkly and joy'.
You know, I can related to them. We are all in it , the uncertainty we are all facing.
There is a saying , 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going'.
I see a lot of nice mouthwatering pastries in this cafe. For sure, I'll support them if they can do 'delivery' ... not by Amazon :-)
I do admire them for putting the Final touches in these difficult times. I think they are a 'tough little cookie'.

yes, the purchase by internet is a menace to the traditional shops. I remember my chinese guide asked me why I had a supermarket if (only old ladies goes there and the real costumers buy everything by internet). of course this reality didn't hit me exactly yet, but hit the small shops near me and will hit my shop soon.

Don’t the shops and streets look cheerful and festive, when they have been decorated, like this!
This is a very well recorded scene of the Christmas preparations. It is nicely angled and extremely sharply detailed. The inclusion of the stepladders encourages us to raise our eyes and survey the entire shop front.

Beautiful pictures of applying the Christmas decorations for this store.
Many retailers were hoping for a normal sales of their merchandise specially purchased for Christmas. Although the shops were only allowed to open until 17:00, but now a complete lockdown is now looming for the coming weeks thanks to omikron.
