Photographer's Note
Cathedral of Milan (il Duomo) has 3400 statues. The municipality wanted to give another one to the Church: a living statue.
Note in which mirable way the modern style of this remarkable sculpture fits in the gothic context. The new and the old in Milanese art once again in a perfect symbiosis.

Hi Gae, I really like the juxtaposition between the mime and the stone statues, nice background. Well seen,

Bel contrasto di colori e di "epoche".
Una foto molto particolare e apparentemente ben poco capita. Peccato!

A fine job Gae - I like the mix of statues + the living one. I wonder if the smile for the photographer or just part of the performance. Good job - Reminds me of two shots "on store" for later posting.

Love Street performers, especially ones which have put in effort for their appearance, like this one. Good POV, though may have been better with him on the right, as his position leads the viewer away from the image rather than into it. His leading ground is off the page. Perhaps flipping the image would produce the desired effect. Apart from this I like the images details, the background is nice and interesting. I am planning to visit Milan in January, and am assured there are many street performers for me to capture, so I am looking forward to that opportunity, as well as captuing the wonderful architecture of the city. TFS
