Un tramonto la luce, segno di pace, scompare le tenebre ...il sicario nascosto, colui che la sentinella,teme ed aspetta, angosciata, l'arrivo dell'aurora.

Il gioco delle maschere inizia, la maschera della notte
del tradimento si consuma ed il gladio penetra.
Un cielo si tinge di un rossastro alone cadendo nell'oblio della notte dei pensieri, delle vendette, dell'oblio della ragione.
Il tramonto una notte che gronda di pensieri e macina immonde idee e ignobili sospetti.

505 th
The 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment (505th PIR) is one of four infantry regiments of the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army.
Activated in 1942, the regiment participated in the campaigns of Sicily, Salerno, Normandy, Holland and the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. During the 1960s, the 505th one of the units who played a role in Operation Power Pack in the Dominican Republic and later assisted local authorities during the civil disturbances which occurred within the United States. The regiment was sent to the Republic of Vietnam in 1968 during the Vietnam War. After the Vietnam War the 505th participated in various military operations. Among them were Operation Just Cause, Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Restore Hope and Operation Enduring Freedom. The regiment's most recent engagement has been in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Hello Gianfranco,
beautiful shot with silhouette of boats which is eye-catcher. Great image, looks a very interesting of art. Horizontal format and an impressive composition and all are fantastic. Great depth of the image. I really like it.

La notte é così per tutti, sai? Quando il sole cala, il buio scende, tutto può succedere. Il sicario nascosto può essere ovunque, persino nelle nostre anime. E allora non ci si può difendere. Solo l'aurora, con la luce di una nuova alba, ci potrà dire se siamo ancora vivi. E se sapremo sorridere al sole nascente.

A delightful sunset in brilliant tone in the sky area. Timely shot with inclusion of busy silhouetted foreground, this has brought the contrast superbly and well composed record shot of an interesting scene and is so appealing to me. Interesting to read the notes, you spotted the opportunity so well and captured the moment pretty skilfully. A very atmospheric capture. Well done.

Auguri per la tua 505th foto. Un bel modo di celebrarla. Complimenti con l'esposizione e toni morbidi. I controluci sono da favola. Mi dispiace che sono poco presente su TE nei questi giorni. Quindi sono in ritardo con le mie critiche. Ma penso di te sempre, e spero che tu stai bene.

Bonjour Gianfranco,

Les bateaux envoie mon regard vers le soleil ce qui donne de la profondeur à la composition. Le coucher de soeleil donne de belles couleurs au ciel et un jeu d'ombres aucx bateaux et aux immeubles. Une scène qui est paisible, bonne journée.
