Come ho detto in precedenza, i turisti erano molti, difficile evitarli, soprattutto nei luoghi più caratteristici.

La chiesa della Madonna del Morbo è un edificio sacro che si trova in piazza Amerighi, a Poppi, in provincia di Arezzo.

Il tempio è stato costruito tra il 1657 e il 1659 su progetto del medico poppese Francesco Folli, aperto al culto nel 1657 e terminato nel 1705. L'edificio è a pianta esagonale con tetto coperto da una piccola cupola e circondato su tre lati da un loggiato. Nell'interno, sui tre lati opposti, si aprono tre archi, di cui il centrale accoglie l'altare maggiore con una tavola con Madonna con il Bambino e san Giovannino attribuita alla scuola di Filippino Lippi.

Ciao Carluccio,

Beautiful dome of this church in POppi. Interesting hexagonal architecture with arches around. Very nice composition with dog. The people here are not dusturbing, they enliven the scene, make it more interesting.
From Arezzo was Guido (from Arezo), important for the history of music.
I am enjoying the lakes, not much forests, still busy with my work.

J'aime beaucoup cette photo car automatiquement, elle me fait penser au rythme de vie en Italie.La lumière joue le jeu avec les ombres et la fontaine semble bien désaltérer le chien.

Avec l'horloge superbe église avec les petits arches de côté elle a une merveilleuse architecture et la porte ouverte avec la fontine le chien le personnage, quel ensemble.

beh si ad agosto e' molto difficile scattare foto con pochi turisti in torno ne so qualcosa nel mio giro che ho fatto in Francia.
Interessante l'edificio con una interessante e non molto comune pianta esagonale.

You have written a very interesting note about this lovely little church and given us a beautiful photograph to accompany it.

Although you say that it is difficult to avoid lots of tourists, I think that the inclusion of people here, several with nice brightly coloured clothing, really adds well to your fine composition. You have composed the photograph very well and you have also managed the light very well considering the bright sunshine and strong shadows.

Lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and excellent clarity.
