Church of San Martino - Trevi (PG)
The first memory of this church occurs in a document dated 1235: a sentence regarding the restitution of lands pronounced by Giacomo, archpriest of the parish church of S. Martino, delegate of the pope.
The interior, completely renovated in the seventeenth-eighteenth century, already had the beautiful large table of Spagna on the main altar (now in the municipal art gallery), a replica of another already painted in Todi and in turn derived from that of Ghirlandaio in Narni.

La longueur de la nef donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'intérieur de l'église San Martino. La lumière fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hello Silvio,
Another excellently balanced photo of a fine interior of an old church. I like the contrast between the white walls and ceiling and the benches and other brown details. It's a relatively "clean" church without exaggerated decoration. As usual you handled the light perfectly.

The wider angle allows us to obtain a more complete impression of the layout of the church.
I still like its relative simplicity of the design, though there are more paintings on view.

The lighting is wonderful and helped to show the textures of the round ceiling so well. A nice view down the aisle of the small church as well. Great work.
