Sanctuary of Our Lady of Tears - Trevi (Perugia)
On 5 August 1485, tears of blood were seen falling from the eyes of a Madonna painted on the wall of a rural house. Numerous miracles followed.
Everything was meticulously recorded by a contemporary local notary. A temple was immediately built. Construction began on May 26, 1487 based on a project by the architect Antonio Marchisi da Settignano: in 1511 the roof vaults were completed, but the plasters and floors were completed in 1522.

Hello Silvio,
It is a very stylish and tastefully decorated sanctuary. Most of the walls are kept plain white, which creates a harmonious atmosphere. The photo is informative and also symmetrically composed. You handled the light very nicely.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Silvio,
La longueur de la nef donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'intérieur du sanctuaire Norte-Dame-des-Larmes. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Ciao Silvio How stunning is the design of this old church: It looks like the engineers of by then saved up on decorations around the main altar and then spent a lot to embellish the side altars. You realized an attractive picture
captured at low light and the outcome is quite inviting to introspection.

Ciao Silvio, davvero curiosa, con l'altare cosi' spoglio ed i due laterali molto ricchi, mai visto nulla del genere, cattura perfetta con una grande sensazione di assoluto silenzio. Buon weekend,Luciano

Hello Silvio,
A very simple but strong and evocative Altar featuring just the crucifixion of Christ statue. Good sharpness and the frescoes at the sides add a splash of colour. Tfs!

silvio
a curious contrast between the end of the church, so simple, and this part in the FG. these side altars looks like arches and the murals are impressive.
take care

Well managed the mild light inside the big hall of the church, Silvio.
Each of the arches at the side walls worth a photo from a close-up, reckon those have a marvelous carved elements and paintings.
Have a nice new week,
Ike

Hello Silvio,
The altar area looks so plain, but the side walls make up for it.
