Photographer's Note

Crowned with the Three Peaks of Lavaredo and lying on the shores of the homonymous lake, Misurina is rightly called “the pearl of the Dolomites”. The whole area is an ideal starting point for walks, excursions and climbs on the Three Peaks and on the surrounding mounts Cristallo, Sorapis and Cadini. In winter, ski-lovers will have the chance to go skiing in the Auronzo-Misurina skiarea, where, thanks to artificial snow, ski runs are always perfect.

It'nice to see this hostel trying to compete with the mountains, ... you guess which one lose the game ...

Nice view, it's missing a bit of the sky but as I can see it is a little bit over-exposed and I supposed that you cut some part of it.

What a charmful place! It's seems to be a must for mountains lovers. The shot is really nice, with good sharpness and beautiful colours. I like the proportion and the space given to water and mountains, good POV.

very good image of an impressive place: good contrast between the huge mountains and the small (compared to the mountains) man-made lodgings; love how the surface of the water looks almost solid and also how small the people appear in all this grandour ... maybe it's just about time we should start thinking and reconsidering our own size and power?

Very nice compo and framing. I like that town caught between the high, impressive mountain and the silver lake. Very picturesque.
