Venice is an easy city to walk around and to navigate using gondolas. We did not succumb to using one of these means of transport, too expensive. We were lucky enough to spend a few days there and once day trippers had gone night time walks were more magical.

You don't need to use the gondolas because you can get better shots looking down on them, like this!
I love the fact that this gondolier is totally unaware of you but you have obtained such a good, clear shot, that we can imagine what his expression is saying!
Your photograph was well timed, using the pretty bridge as a border for the action.
