For those who haven't been to this beautiful city, there are set rates for gondola rides. After 7pm, the rate climbs. Having a gondolier sing to you takes the price even higher.

Bottom line: Enjoy the ride and scenery. Forget about the price!

Hello Claudia,
After viewing the gold placed on this gondola I would not ask what the price is for a ride through the canals of Venice, I just would not do it, alone anyway. A bright day I see as the hues are a bit overexposed, and the angle of the gondola seat works well here to emphasize not only the gondola but of the beauty of the City of Venice as well.
It appears you enjoyed your visit to Europe...

There is some beautiful colour here in this slice of life scene. The sky is a bit drab and it takes away from the canal below. I would be tempted to crop about a quarter off the top an eliminate much of the sky then add a bit of contrast to the rest of the image.
