Photographer's Note

Casteldilago was built on a rocky plateau overlooking the valley of over one hundred meters where the river Nera. The village was a fortification strategic security of Valnerina, one controlled road junction to cross two major arterial roads: the Via Flaminia and the Via Salaria, Via Curia, or the Roman road that connected Rieti and Terni Spoleto.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition.Un très beau quartier avec cette arche qui donne une impression de compression. La bicyclette prend bien sa place dans cette lumière diffuse.

il vecchio vicolo ritiene l' incanto degli anni passati e sembra ancora elegante. Mi piace lo spettacolo composto da caratteristici architetturali, la prospettiva e' attraente e c' e' un bel equilibrio tra di loro. C' e' un' interessante diversita' di colori. La bici e la busta nella scattola fanno intriganti traccie di vita quotidiana. Complimenti e grazie!

nice the view of the narrow street of the village with the bike on the right and the arch in the middle of the frame to add more beautiful and charmy elements in the scene.The falling light on the backdrop enhance even more the clarity as the details of the image.

This is a fine photo with excellent details and very pleasant light. You lead us through the dark vault into the courtyard with white walls and nice plants. There are many lovely details on the walls and even the bicycle parked in the vault is a fine detail.

Only the new bike is a disturbing element for a old painting, but not as picture of this village.

Hello Silvio,I really like views such as this, where you take us down the narrow streets and lanes of the towns and villages.
A good point of view as you look up the slope to the different houses and doorways.
I feel as if I am there, but I do not know what is around the corner!
Sharp details and a lovely variety of textures.

There was a special light that made the alley seems as an impressionist-painter came with his paintbrush and made a fantastic job here.
