Photographer's Note

The Fortezza Medicea (Medici Fortress) of Volterra is built on the highest point of the hill overlooking the town. From the outside it is an imposing structure. It takes the form of two smaller fortresses joined together.

Despite its name, the origins of the fortress predate the ascendancy of the Medicis. The southern part was constructed at the command of the Duke of Athens who had been appointed governor of Florence in 1342.

We see clear the tower very far in background, but nice between the green trees.
But also a lovely picture.

Wonderful framing when the lush foliage on both sides have framed the fortress wonderfully in a curtain like effect transforming the entire visual setting looks so relaxing. This provides the focal counterpoint of contrast to the rest of the scene. It's impressively composed in great clarity with good saturation. Congrats

J'aime beaucoup ce cadrage vertical même si tous les éléments semblent bien loin dans le paysage. Tu as choisit de laisser les gens bien tranquilles dans leur intimité avec cette belle tour en point de mire.
