Non so se vi ho mai parlato di Terrazza Mascagni, è una grande terrazza di Livorno che si affaccia direttamente sul mare, caratterizzata dal pavimento a scacchiera e da una lunghissima balaustra che ha un andamento ondulato..

Ciao Carlo,sta terrazza sta diventando un incubo,abbiamo visto tante foto nella tua gallery e poi ci si e' messo anche Mauro. Pero' in effetti merita,il suo pavimento stile scacchiera e soprattutto la location vista mare sono davvero unici...bella foto senza dubbio. Buona serata,Luciano

That paving makes for odd appearances the farther it gets from you. very effective.

I find the chequerboard pavement quite fascinating. I like the low point of view and the way the stone balustrade sweeps round the frame. The people are nicely dotted about, enlivening the scene as well as giving scale to the vast promenade. Excellent technical quality.

Hello Carlo,
The checkered pavement and the curving balustrade give the composition fine depth and a nice structure. To this could be added a very appealing light, nice clouds and a fine view of the distant boat. My favourite detail is the man leaning on the balustrade while watching the sea.

I like this!
The tiled area seems utterly vast from this viewpoint, even the figures appear dwarfed!
It seem to stand, like a giant balcony, with the merging sea and sky as a backcloth!
The lighting is perfect for the mood.

Yes, you have spoken about - and shown us a photograph of this place - just last month!!

And this is another fabulous photograph, showing so clearly the curving sweeping balustrades as well as the wonderful chequerboard floor. And this wide-angle view gives incredibly strong perspective too. I love the fact that we can see out to sea to the horizon and I also love the presence of so many people, perfectly placed in the frame and giving not only human interest but also a fine sense of scale.

Glorious light and colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

Your photo is really eye-catching! I love ground pattern and the way it gives balance to the blue sky. Great sharpness and excellent pov. Would be even more amazing to get a clear shot without any people but that's hard for sure.

no había visto esta enorme terraza, pero gracias a tu foto ahora puedo admirar su gran tamaño y la belleza de su ubicación sobre el mar.
En tu eficaz encuadre captas la gran potencia gráfica y geométrica de su pavimento de baldosas en tablero de ajedrez, bajo una luz magnífica que crea unas bonitas sombras de la balaustrada, y con un precioso dominante azul en el cielo y en el mar. La perspectiva es muy profunda.
Gran trabajo, una foto muy bella, caro amico.
