Hello Silvio,
This is a magnificent photo. We see the beautiful walls and columns of the medieval abbey, but by far the best feature is the conversation between the monk and the lady both wearing face masks to protect themselves from the corona virus. They are signs of the present days but also connect with similar diseases that have hit humanity through the centuries. The misery caused by plagues have often been depicted on the walls of old churches.
Kind regards,
Gert

I'd name this picture as "A small chat with the pastor", Silvio, and shows a contemporary Corona days mask wearing and keeping distance.
Good use of the outside light through the shaded hall. Looking upwards, we see the wooden beams and the roof-tiles cover also in fine clarity.
Arrivederci,
Ike

Hello Silvio,
Nice repetition of the arches and the masked friar and parishioner animate this contemporary scene. Tfs!

Silvio, the abbey roof is supported by a strong wooden framework. The arches and columns in stone are old and elegant. A visitor is talking with a religious person. Both wear masks in this time of coronavirus. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Hello Silvio, it is the conversation between the monk and the woman that brings this picture to life.
The details of the abbey are in sharp focus, and the light is very well managed.
Thanks for sharing, kind regards, Jean.

Hello Silvio,
A great photo of the interior of the old abbey. Superb light management, which helps reveal the textures of the old walls very well too. The two people are well included in the foreground.

Ciao Silvio,
nice scene, I like the fact that the people are wearing the masks -in the future it may be again quite a rare sight so this is something special nowadays to witness and photograph.
Even without the masks it would be a nice scene with the monk going so well with the background.
Very well done,
M

Ciao caro Silvio,
I can imagine that the contrasts of light in this ancient abbey church must have been very challenging to any photographer. I can appreciate just how bright it was outdoors when we look at the open door and the windows above it - so you have done remarkably well to preserve some light in all parts of the interior, particularly where the monk and the lady visitor are standing, while allowing us a fine view of the rest of this beautiful building. Your control of the lighting is quite remarkable!
A very fine photograph and an interesting note too.
Wonderful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Silvio,
A contemporary photo for Italy given the mouth masks that the monk and the lady wear.
Not an easy light management but we can see the interior construction very well.
Best regards, Paul
