Photographer's Note
Another view from a speeding bus. I never noticed the bathers on the small beach far below or the stairs allowing them access, when I took this. Only when I went into photoshop to sharpen and correct the tilted horizon. Might load a workshop as a bonus taken minutes later.

Hello Chris,
I'm amazed that you had a moment of relative steadiness to take a photograph. I've travelled this route and know what it's like! It was a few years earlier when I did the Amalfi run so maybe the buses and anticipation of drivers have improved since then!
Both shots are delightful;, detailing the high cliffs, the blue sea and the charming character of the buildings.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Chris,
I suppose the speeding bus wasn't doing any really high speed, considering the sharpness of the photo. There must have been some sharp curves where the driver needed to be careful. I'm almost surprised that you could concentrate on taking a picture when there was such a superb view that called for attention. The fine exposure and colours come as a bonus.
Best regards,
Gert

Bonjour Chris,
L'étendue de la baie donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des falaises et des montagnes en arrière-plan. J'apprécie les différentes teintes de couleurs de l'eau. Bonne journée.

Hello Chris, You were going to Salerno to meet me and my friend, haha. Have you seen it: https://www.trekearth.com/workshops/1530985/photo210872.htm
Excellent shot from the bus. The road looks scary. I chose the boat from Amalfi. Spectacular composition.

Hello Chris,
I have hiked quite a bit of the Amalfi coast. But it was often dangerous to walk because of car traffic.
The views, however were always stunning.
The quality of this photo is very good considering you were in a speeding bus.
Wonderful blue sea and gorgeous coastline. I think one of the most beautiful coasts in Europe.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Chris!
What a view from the bus and what a unique place for this house built in the cliff. That`s what I call a window with view.I have seen some like this one only at lago Lugano in Switzerland before.Nice to see some people at tis private, rocky beach and great depth with the populated coast in the distance.

Hello Chris,
A really great view, the composition is very well balanced between the deep blue and calm sea and the steep cliffs. Wonderful view along the spectacular coastline here.

Hi Chris
A superb capture of a very serious looking cliff and that's high but you make it look very inviting. What a wonderful day you've captured, great colour rendition and interest throughout. Beautiful coastal shot, well done

I was traveling on the bus there as well. I may have taken couple of photos but usually when the bus made a stop. Your photos quality is stunning and I cannot believe it was taken from the bus!
Great scenery and indeed somehow I would not look down if you didn't point it out.
Excellent capture,

Hello Chris, a lovely reminder for me of this beautiful part of the Italian coast.
I am not surprised that you missed seeing the people down below the cliff.
We see how the road hugs the contours of the hillside, and amazingly that there are buildings somehow attached to the cliffs.
Taken from a moving bus? No-one would have guessed.
Kind regards, Jean
