Church of Sant'Eusebio - Ronciglione (VT)
The Church of Sant'Eusebio dates back to the VII-VIII century.
It is located a couple of kilometers south of Ronciglione, along the Cassia Cimina Provincial Road; you can see it on the left, among the hazel groves and a group of oaks.
The complex consists of two distinct artifacts.
The first is the sepulcher in rectangular tuffs, dating back to the second half of the 4th century AD. that Flavio Eusebio - deputy governor of Campania - had built for himself and for his family on the land owned by him, as a stone inscription tells us. Under the floor seven masonry burials were found, of which the one against the back wall is probably that of Flavio Eusebio.
