Photographer's Note
It seemed right to dedicate a post also to the small village of Piediluco, which gives its name to the lake from which the Marmore waterfall is born. I found this alley that inspired me for the title, a saying that is often used for bad musicians. In the WS you can see the tourist boat to go around the lake and a view of the facade of the church of San Francesco. Piediluco, with just over 523 inhabitants, is a small hamlet of Terni, included in the two-year period 2016 - 2017 among the most beautiful villages in Italy as a guest village. The small fishing village stands on the shores of the lake of the same name between the Luco and Caperno mountains at 375 meters above sea level.

Hello Luciano,
This is a surprising view, quite amusing, but I would be worried to climb these steps. Maybe I would be out of tune! But someone had a nice idea to paint the steps this way, and I also see at least traces of interesting painting on the left wall. The church in the WS is nice and the tourist bus is amazing. You show us three interesting photos.
Best regards,
Gert

Ciao Luciano, bel tris di foto da Piediluco, molto originale la scalinata a pianoforte, non me la ricordo, forse l'hanno ridipinta da poco, ottima qualità come sempre, bravo, ciao Silvio

Hello Luciano,
I wonder if you heard music when someone walked up or down these stairs.
Original and well found.
Good idea to brighten up the alley.
The tourist boat on the lake also looks very special.

Hi Luciano
Looking at these stairs, i can feel the wit of the mural artist.
Piediluco Village has a 375m above sea level and is said to be pleasantly beautiful, right? This mountain village has a beautiful lake.

Bonsoir Luciano,
Les escaliers ressemblent à un clavier de piano, La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des escalier. Sa longueur crée de la profondeur. Bonne soirée.

Ciao Luciano
I found out that in Italy the word 'piano' doesn't always mean a musical instrument as depicted very cleverly here, but a level or floor. A good upward pov with excellent colour and sharpness. Tfs!

Nice idea to paint the stairs-case, Luciano, I can bet there is a piano player living there.
Nice view of the plants atop the climb.
Arrivederci,

Hello Luciano,
What a nice idea of the makers of this stairway as piano.
The stairway lead us to the narrow way with flowers and nice light.
Also your two WS pictures are more value than a supplementary picture.
Very well composition, sharp and clear presentation.
Nice done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Ciao Caro Luciano,
It's like a film set!
How good if someone had been dancing up or down the stairs!
Without any artists to help you, you have created an excellent composition, with a strong sense of perspective.
It is also a bit of mystery as to who lives at the top of these stairs!!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Luciano,
A really nice view up the piano-like stairs here. There are some nice colourful butterflies at left as well and there is a lot to see at the top of the stairs also. Well spotted.

Thanks for sharing.

Hello Luciano,
Excellent observation and realization. Have I already told you that I have attended a music school back in my primary school years than I was attended not to do so? I also tried football, but it is only photography where I show some talent. :)
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hi Luciano,
Quite wonderful idea to create piano keys on stairs. And all those small details in the background make this more interesting. And there are small painted details on the wall too.

Ciao Luciano,
It's great that even a very small town like Piediluco has cool and unexpected art. Both the piano stairs, and the art on the left wall, are fun. I'm sure people stop to pretend that they are playing a melody when they find these stairs. :-) Take care!

Ciao Luciano,
This is a brilliant idea! I am surprised that actually nobody thought of that before. It brightens up the passage here adding some interest. At the top we see a charming scene as well. Very well spotted,

Hello Luciano,
Ha!ha!ha! I like the title ... when I think of football.
Is Italy 'playing with feet'? In this case , 'rhythmically' terrible. To be in the play-offs.
Anyway, what an inspiring little alley with the musical stairs. I bet the children have fun with it ... sliding down the stairs on their butts , screaming 'do-re-mi-fa-SOOOOOOO'
Would you do that ? I definitely not , only if I want to sing in high pitch , then I'll ...
Probably, I better stick to the WS2. Boating round the lake :-)
I do like the church entrance with a simple cross between two long tiny windows.
Thanks for sharing this small village's alley.
Loong
p/s: I still cheering for Italy , Go On ! :-)

Hi Luciano, hope you are in good mood.
When I looked at the photo, before I read the title, I thought the same thing - even when it would really make music while climbing the stairs !? :)
Regarding WS and "the tourist boat to go around the lake" - it is so ugly!
Hope you will have a nice weekend.
