Photographer's Note

View of the path for the pass of 'Mus', in the 'Friulane' Dolomites, where i have meeted the family of ibexes (see Mom & son )
These 'minor' Dolomites aren't well knowed as the more famous 'cousins' in the provinces of Belluno and Bolzano (see the group theme The Dolomites) but just for this reason are beautifully lacking of the 'caos' of the mass tourism ( to the famous Three Peaks of Lavaredo is possible to go with a car and parking directly under the peaks: so in a nice summer weekend is easy to meet some thousands of tourists... ;-((
For me, over the mountains we must go only with our strenghts.
Well, in the 'Friulane' Dolomites this is the constant rule: the paths are many, all not too easy and some really tiring but the very most without the necessity of specialized equipment or expertise.
At the highter points (always over 2.000m., never more than 2.500m.) you find some little huts for your safety, and is possible to meet many wild animals: it's a park, so no hunters here, please!
The view shows a decent idea of what you can find: please note the absolute absence of houses, cableways or ski runs.
If you like to have a relaxing holiday walking in the park, I recommend it! ;-D)
