The image is a bit proceeded, a kinda variation of HDR technique..., and the face of this thinking King...you can find it Here
But he was standing there, all alone with his mobile telephone, that I've tryed to avoid taking:)
Still Venice, but in this position like 300 years ago:)

Very nice photo, technicaly perfect, but that wooden stick coming out of mens head is disturbing the composition a bit for me. nice colours as well. ;-)

la foto è bella per la sua ottima definizione e per la composizione originale. Il telefonino magari l'avrei preso, sarebbe stato un "elemento di rottura" interessante, a meno che tu non volessi farci fare un viaggio indietro nel tempo.

hi Maja, ta je izbrstna, ušeč mi je da si ga slikala od zadaj, lepa perspektivain dokaj temne barve, ali si jih ti tako obdelala da njegov obleka pride do izraza.

I could sense that the picture was post processed but I love the work you have done on this. The saturated colours appear very beautiful indeed. But even without them, the POV is excellent. I love a lot of your recent works. Keep up the good work.

Hi Maja. Good use of the carnival setting to get this timeless composition of the "king" watching out on the water. Nice framing to have the man and the background tower in balanced positions relative to each other. The foreground layer of gondolas and the red boarding pier are well included, too. A bit of a pity with that pole "growing" out of the guy's head but it's a minor detail in an otherwise nice shot.

Zdravo Maja,
krasno! To bi lahko bil prvi kader filma o Casanovi ;)))) Mož, ki ga je žena prevarala že kliče prijatelje, da se gredo maščevat ;))) Seveda je bilo to pozivanje prijateljev v časih Casanove malo bolj počasno ;))) Super barve, super vse.
... ma si jih pa naštepala novih fotk tačas... sem jih kar nekaj pogledal... prva misel: bejba je dobila zavarovalnino! Ma potem sem prebral kako je bilo s 300mm/f2.8... Škoda, prav bi ti ga privošču (čeprav je malo velik in težak)... ampak 12-24mm pa si ubodla? Ga izbiram že kar nekaj časa tudi jaz... in ga verjetno ne bom izbral še dolgo ;)))

Lep vikend tudi tebi... mogoče se pa res srečava kje... ampak ti si prehitra zame... mi se premikamo kot vojska... najprej pešadija (jaz), potem oklepniki (moja ta mala v vozičku), potem intendanti s kuhinjo (moja punca)... too much logistike in poln avto za cel dan naokoli ;))

Nice picture of a tremendous city.
You really managed to portraid the city in an original and funny way with a great view on the gondolas, the grand canal and the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute.
