Civic archaeological museum at the Scuderie Aldobrandini ("Aldobrandini Stables"). It displays archaeological finds coming from the ancient Tusculum and the nearby area.

The museum is housed in the former Scuderie Aldobrandini (Aldobrandini Stables), a prestigious 17th-century complex recently restored by architect Massimiliano Fuksas. Thanks to a vanguard exhibition arrangement, the visitors are given the opportunity to admire the whole collection and to value it properly. As a matter of fact, the museum includes an archaeology collection gathering precious finds from the Roman city of Tusculum and the surrounding area dating from the Republican Age to the Middle Ages; there is also a historical-artistic section displaying the models to the scale of 1 to 200 of the Ville Tuscolane all built between 1550 and 1620 approximately (with subsequent construction works) on the Tuscolo side looking over Rome. They belonged to the Roman aristocracy of the papal families and their courts (the Altemps, Boncompagni, Taverna, Aldobrandini, and Ludovisi), and marked the economic, artistic, and cultural revival of Frascati in the manneristic and baroque period, thus establishing its peculiar features and town planning definitively. The gorgeous villas belonging to popes, princes, and cardinals revived the humanistic dream of Cicero's, Lucullus's, and the Quintilii's villas constructed along the same slopes of the Tuscolo, by reproducing their splendour, literary leisure, and holiday style. The complex, including an auditorium, houses important temporary exhibitions.

Bella foto Vinicio, non facile sia per esecuzione e anche da "vedere e capire". ammetto di aver faticato un pò a capire cosa fosse! Molto belli i riflessi, le luci e il colore in primo piano.

Anche se non immediatamente intellegibile (o forse proprio per questo), quest'immagine ha un impatto visivo notevole.
Mi piace moltissimo la soglia di colore azzurro.

Effettivamente questa cornice di legno, la saturazione del blu e la composizione in toni scuri me la fanno decisamente preferire allo scatto che avevi pubblicato nel 2005 del soggetto interno...Mi aveva colpito quella tua foto vista di recente sia perchè non mi è consuetudine fare foto nei musei che per il fatto che aveva tutti quei punti luce che mi intrigavano...Bella interpretazione Vinicio.

Vedi, caro Vinicio, quando uno posta un lavoro così, non c'è che da restare piavevolmente a bocca aperta, e si fa fatica a commentarla, perchè spesso le sensazioni belle non trovano parole. Di primo acchito ho pensato che tu avessi fotografato un'orchestra da qualche anta del loggione, ma poi, guardandola bene ho capito il colpo d'arte che hai avuto. Me la sono gustata millimetro per millimetro con la lente di ingrandimento. Complimenti.
