Photographer's Note
Exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the artist group "De Ploeg" in the Groninger Museum. I was amazed that pictures also stood in the middle of the room on pedestals and not just hung on the walls, at closer look it became clear why: the canvases or cardboards were painted from both sides. An image that the artist himself no longer found good enough was simply turned over and repainted.

Hello Elvira,
This is a very good photo from a museum. It has just the right display of the paintings, in a good light, and the right participation of visitors. The couple, watching a painting with obvious interest, are also very well placed. Most interesting is your description of how some of the paintings can be watched from both sides. I didn't hear of this kind of exhibition before. The blue dominance in the room is very pleasant, but whether one particular colour or another enhances the perception of the art is something I can't judge.
Vest regards,
Gert

Bonjour Elvira,

Prettige avond,
John.

Hello Elvira, this looks like my kind of exhibition, I would love to get up close to these works.
Taken from a very good angle. The people enliven the scene and are obviously enjoying the experience.
Thanks for sharing, regards Jean.

Hello Elvira, Indeed, it is interesting that there are two sides of the paintings. It is rarely so. The blue room looks very attractive. Nice inclusion of visitors.
Kind regrads MAlgo

Ciao Elvira
