Town of Kralendijk from the air as we climb away from the airport on the way to Curacao.
Image of propeller blades look rather strange and is a result of how digital cameras process the view. Image properties tell that exposure time of this photo was 1/1099 s. But that is not the whole truth. It is actually the time of exposure for a single pixel. Digital cameras process the image from the top down. Britten-Norman Islander has four blade propellers, so we can see that during exposure of this image the propeller made about 1.5 rotations. (Highest and lowest blade images are actually the same blade exposed at slightly different times.) Now if we just knew the propeller speed we could calculate the actual exposure time.
