Schermer Windmill, a photo from Noord-Holland, Sud

Photographer's Note

One in a row of three on the Molendijk at Schermerhorn. I'm not sure what this one is called (C, D, or E). It is the one nearest to Almaar.

Waited for the late afternoon sun to come from underneath the winter storm clouds. Had a hard time getting a good exposure and it still isn't ok.

This a great shot with the feeling of cold, crisp winter air.I love the colours and composition.I think the exposure is good, considering the dramatic contrast within the shot.

I love the light in this - so clean and crisp, the windmill is illuminated brilliantly, i think the snow works very well giving a cold feel to this image. Nothing could be added, perfect shot, well captured!

Nice composition, minimal colours, incredible light, lines of direction... How could it be any better?!! The golden and ocre colours blend beautifully with the great blue sky of Holland, to offer a wonderful photo. Top notch!

Hallo Sander,
Een heerlijke kouwe winterplaat in een heel mooie compositie. Deze molens bij Schermerhorn zijn beroemd, wat ik vaak terug zie ik vele foto's van die locatie.
Je werk hier op TE is afwisselend, staan een paar fraaie platen tussen.
Heb nog ff een reactie gezet van jou comment op de mijne..
