The weekend I made this picture I had a trip to Texel planned. Texel is one of the Dutch Islands. To go there you take a ferry from Den Helder. The ferry is the biggest fun part. The seagulls know that the people will feed them with bread and they will do anything to get a piece of it.

This particularly day it was grey and dull weather. I feared that I could not make some nice shots because of this weather. After all, I am quite fond of the result of these seagulls flying (marching?) in for some food.
