Photographer's Note

Next stop in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen: Schoondijke.
Schoondijke is a fairly small village north of Oostburg and at first sight, this village has not much to offer. But one must always look carefully...

Behind the windmill (which I'll post lateron), there is a small path, leading to a creek. This creek is part of a nature conservation programm of the community of Oostburg and is called "Het Bruun Dreefje", translated that is: the brown path. It is especially meant for improving the diversity of grass and plants + the increase of butterflies. Saw no butterflies, but some libellas crossed my path (they are quite rare too).

I liked the bordeaux red heads on the reed alonside the creek and took this picture for you. I almost fell into the creek trying to get a good angle, but no worries I remained dry. One must suffer a bit for TE ;-)).
