Photographer's Note
Tysfjord is a municipality in the county of Nordland in northern Norway. It is the only municipality in Norway with Lule Sami as an official language. But it's not the language that makes tourists come here. It's the nature. The landscapes are domineted by granitic rocks, pine, birch and aspen woodland and forests as well as many fjord branches. The views are just amazing. Still there's other much more important reason to get here. It's the presence of orcas, which show up in the fjord every winter to feed on the herring. Unhappily during my two day stay in the area there was none of them. From what I've learned the orcas have appeared one day after ny departure. Damn.
The photo was taken early in the morning. Exposure was something like 10 sec.

Hello Lukasz,
Amazing clarity and sharpness in your well exposed photo in B&W medium. I like fantastic contrasts and reflection, easily visible lake bed under crystal clear water. Wonderful, congratulations.
With my best new year wishes to you and your family.
Best Regards,
Ertugrul
