Photographer's Note
This is one of the most beautiful stretches of road that I have ever had the privilege of travelling along. The route form Ålgård to Oltedal is quite a narrow road, and is used by folks from south Rogaland on the way to their cabins further up in the hills, maybe in Dirdal, Byrkjedal and Sirdal. There are very few stopping places, so when I found one, I spent a long time walking behind road barriers to capture some wonderful scenery. This lake is called Edlandsvatnet, and the photo opportunities seemed boundless. I was going to drive up to Sirdal, maybe another 90 minute drive, but didn’t get any further than this. I hope you appreciate why.

Hi Amelia
Beautiful panorama of the symmetric reflection of the mountains. Wonderful water color, great light and nice natural colors.

Hi Amelia
Nice place indeed, beautiful nature, even twice with the reflection, and the foreground rock gives depth to your composition
Have a nice day JY
