The Grieg Hall II, a photo from Hordaland, Sud

Photographer's Note

This is the music hall named after the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg (1843-1907). The design of the building has the shape of a grand piano. The building was completed and opened in 1978. I've missed your first post of this remarkable building . It was , may be , more effective , but this one is excellent , too , showwing us the hall in its surrounding . Both are superb pictures at the blue hour .

the blue hour lighting is a bit softer in this one, and the amber/orange lighting Inside the building glows so warmly against the blues and blacks surrounding it.
love the long lines and perspectives and contrast.

De façon surprenante, je n'ai pas vu ce bâtiment lors de mon passage à Bergen!Il a pourtant tout pour attirer mon regard, la vision nocturne étant encore plus belle. Tu en as réalisé une excellente photo.

superb complement to your older,previous shot of this amazing looking building!
I really enjoy its architecture as well as your magnificent presentation of it.And to be honest the blue hour was the best time to bring out the whole uniqueness of the building and to make the perception of the scene as expressive as only possible.

Hello Erling,
I know Grieg and his music since my childhood, and enjoy seeing the hall bearing hid name.
The modern building is nice taken in dusk blue-hour, indoor's lights gave graceful look on the beautiful image.
