Photographer's Note

Oppdal is a small mountain village in Central Norway, with a population around 5000. The place is mostly based on tourism, with several ski resorts and a vast system of ski lifts and slopes in different categories.

The village itself is located at about 600 m, and surrounded by peaks up to 1500 m.

I spent a week-end in Oppdal this January, and of course used the opportunity to take some pictures around the place… Starting here with the church, built from timber and dating back to 1651.
