Photographer's Note

This is a small part of a path leading from Szrenica peak to the Snowy peak - Karkonosze Mountains, Lower Silesia, Poland. On tle left side of the path you can see the chain border... there is a "little" hole behind (about 150 meters deep).

Classic landscape of the region and good in B&W. A nice memory for me this. Sklaska Poreba was the town where I spent my first night in Poland, in 1992.

Piêkna perspektywa i swiuatne kadrowanie. My¶lê, ¿e w kolorze ten kadr przedstawia³ by siê równie wspaniale jak przy tej konwencji. Bardzo ³adna jako¶æ zdjêcia, kontrasty dobrze podkre¶laj± dramaturgie miejsca.

£adna kompozycja z ciekawa perspektywa. Dobrze prowadzi wzrok drozka. Kolorystyka tez tutaj dodaje smaku. Podoba sie.

Hello Greg,
un POV très au ras du sol, cela donne souvent des vues qu'on n'a pas l'habitude de contempler, donnant d'autres proportions aux choses.
Une photo nette et bien contrastée mais qui je crois se prêtait davantage à la couleur.

Fajne ujêcie dró¿ki. Jeszcze da³oby siê na rowerze jechaæ, chocia¿ nie tak ³atwo jak z drugiej strony ;). Podoba mi siê efekt z widocznym obni¿eniem w dalszej czê¶ci kadru.

Hi Greg,
This low angle POV is quite effective, with the chain link fence providing good graphism and taking the eye up the path. The large B&W format works well, with the shrubbery balanced nicely on the right against the lighter tones of the rocks. Good depth here. Have a good week, Greg.

Pewnie dodałbym mocniejszy kontrast, ale i tak jest ciekawie. A po lewej Śnieżne Kotły? Ten szlak robi wrażenie.

Ciekawe zdjêcie. Jako¶ mi to wygl±da na alegoriê ludzkiego ¿ycia; kamienista droga, której koñca nie widaæ. Dobrze, ¿e jest jakie¶ zabezpieczenie - ³añcuch. A co w ¿yciu jest takim ³añcuchem?...

Swoj± drog±, ¶wietna jako¶æ, a wersja cz/b jest tu jak najbardziej na miejscu.
