"The new astonishing place has been built in Lodz- Manufaktura. The old industrial –listed buildings have been transformed into theirs new look…

The intersection of two streets Zachodnia and Ogrodowa was the center of the city life. Izrael Poznanski established one of the biggest textile factories in Europe in XIX century. He built a beautiful residence right beside his factories. This factory campus has become a city within city. Poznanski supplied energy from his own power plant, had his own railroad dock, fire department. There were workers parcels and school nearby the factory complex. The campus was going through lots of changes in XX century. The last workers have left the factory walls in 1997.

They factory has not been left alone for a long time. The Apsys Groupe firm began refurbishment the whole area. The buildings that were not protected by the history preservation laws have been demolished. We can now see how the factory looked over a century ago. All the building has been adjusted to function in present environment.

We have achieved exactly what we planned. We have created the new look that brings together old industrial architecture with the modern design.

The manufaktura presents huge size shopping, culture and entertainment offer.
