Many people emigrate to the city, leaving behind abandoned farms.
I met this yard during a bike trip.
Here time stopped ...

Grandeur days of this house are over, still its ancient beauty can be seen.
The rusty tap can easily be resored and kept in a museum, in my humble opinion.

It's almost heartbreaking to see a fine house like this abandoned. Obviously great care was taken to make it look nice and a good place to live. A city family should restore it and use it as a summer house and for weekends. It's a good photo for your collection.

What a find!
You used the water pump very well in your composition as it seems to add to the sadness of the neglected, abandoned building. It also anchors the f/g nicely.
You have collected some excellent, sharp details in your photograph.

It is sad that such a lovely building has been left.
Such places are highly sought after in England, as many people are now opting to live in the countryside.
The pump and the stone trough would be quite valuable.

Hello Krzysztof,

This is an excellent photograph but it is also a rather sad scene. That old farmhouse looks very attractive and although it would not take a tremendous amount of work to get it back into good condition suitable for a family to occupy.

Your composition is excellent with the pump perfectly placed in the frame, nicely balancing the main door of the house. Lovely soft light, good colours and excellent detail and sharpness.

here we have this problem too, but the houses are demolished in few months after because the areas are transformed in plantations. nice details of the house and the manual pump.

Krzyzstof, that farmhouse was abandoned due to the rural exodus towards bigger cities and abroad. The water pump is maybe out of order nowadays, it is rusty. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Bardzo fotogeniczna studnia jest doskonalym pierwszym planem dla nie mniej interesujacego domu. Sporo ciekawych dekoracji sie zachowalo ktore wskazuja na niegdzysiejsza swietnosc tego miejsca.
