Photographer's Note
Kolobrzeg (Germen Kolberg) city, in Zachodniopomorskie province, northwestern Poland. It lies at the mouth of the Parseta River on the Baltic Sea. It is a port and health spa, with its economy relying on fishing and tourism.
Founded as a Slavic stronghold in the 8th century, Kolobrzeg was incorporated as Polish territory in the 10th century. It originally lay a short distance south of the present site on the Parseta River. The first church in western Pomorze (Pomerania) was built there. Kolobrzeg became an important commercial center during the 13th century. Sized by the electorate of Brandenburg in 1648, it was restored to Poland after World War II. Most of the town was destroyed during the war but has been completely reconstructed.
The lighthouse was built in 1947, however, its history dates back to the late 17th century when the first navigation light was set up in the city's port. The first timber-framed lighthouse was built in 1666 and was soon replaced with more sturdy bricked construction. As such the lighthouse was operational until 1945 when it was blown up by the German military. The lighthouse in its current form was rebuilt just two years later with further redesigns and restoration works. The Kolobrzeg Lighthouse is 26 meters high and its flashing light reaches nearly 30 kilometers into the sea.

Hi Zbigniew,
Sunset light is lovely on this one and I'm glad you went to the shoreline to capture all those reflections on the wet sand. The lighthouse is perfectly placed and all those seagulls are nice details.

Hi Zbigniew,
Wow.....wonderful sunset by the sea, ideal as the gentle waves reach the shore, where the seagulls give a beautiful backlight, as well as the lighthouse that is outlined against that sky of wonderful color tones, precisely ours. friend Krzysztof, is showing photos of the museum of this population.
Good management of lighting and sharpness.
Well done. I like it.
I wish you a pleasant week.
Very best regards.
Luis.
