Beautiful combination of your favourite subject with a work of art on the foreground.
It looks like a bit of primitive art but here supplemented with a pipe.

This statue may have been made by a local amateur artist, but it could as well have been found in a prestigious museum of modern art. It could even have been from an island in Polynesia. I like it in any case, and it makes a fine foreground to the beautifully worn wooden wall and the orange window. You composed the photo well, the colours match perfectly and the light is superb.

The point of view is showing the details of the sculpture and of the window. The sculpture is helping top frame the scene. The light is giving good rendering of the colours. Have a nice day.

Definitely a wooden theme!

I love the inclusion of the figure, which looks as if it has been carved fro a single trunk! Besides setting the theme of wood, it creates a great sense of depth to the wooden wall and window behind.
Excellent sharp details.

An unusual statue which at first glance looks Polynesian, Maori or Hawaiian perhaps, until you notice the tie. Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!
