Photographer's Note

Taken in Auschwitz concentrations camp that probably everybody knows.

On liberating the camp Auschwitz, the Soviet Army discovered approximately 7.000 kg of hair, packed tightly into bags, in the camp warehouses. These were the remains which the camp authorities had not yet managed to sell and send to the factories.

'Human hair' used to produce 'clothes'

The clothes that you see in the picture, analysed by the Institute of Forensic Medicine and found to originate from human hair, probably mostly women.

This scene shows me, how unlimited 'craziness' of human is !

Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to think all these 'craziness' left in the past and look to the future hopefully, because in many places in the world, today, we keep to kill ourselves by very creative ways !

About photograpyh: Sorry for the grains (ISO 1600). The photo taken in very low light conditions, without tripod, behind of a glass surface and not resized to show the textures just cropped. I can't apply any grain removing software to save textures.
