Photographer's Note
Taken in the same area as this image. In the middle of the park there is the sculpture created by Magdalena Abakanowicz, many consider it a complete eyesore, I, and few kids playing hide and seek, found it fascinating.
In the workshop I have uploaded another pic linking art and the audience as well as general of the sculptures.

Terrific treatment of a haunting sculpture. The hand suspended among rows of emaciated legs, burnt and leathery, the hand supple and alive, the contrast is staggering. Bravo!
Love the workshop (1) as well.

After Master Animesh' supremely eloquent note..I'm uh, kinda stuck for words, Peter but everything he said, I sign on to ;o) Love the light stripes on the ground, man. And that 20-35L is a sweet lens, ain't it?
Best,

Hey Peter, it's been a while. I see that you too, eventually were pulled back to TE.. :)
You've given us a very minimalist approach to your take on Poland thus far, but no less poignant. That hand, those many legs... The curiosity relationship between youth, innocence and heavy symbols of the "isms" of history (my time with the kids in N.Ireland galvanised that for me).

Hello Peter. I love Magdalena Abakanovicz's work, to the effect that I had to buy a huge album by her. I believe she out of many sculptors is singular in representing the human condition... utterly movingly. These legs too are testament to that, which alone would be gripping... but with that little child's hand, puffy, pink and innocent, the contrast is even more staggering... a huge bravo!
