Photographer's Note

Today I'm posting a photo of Conimbriga. Situated around 16 kms from Coimbra, Conimbriga is one of the most important Roman sites in Portugal. Occupied by the Romans from the 1st century BC till the 5th century AD, Conimbriga has been an important and wealthy city. Today it's a national monument and next to the ruins there's also a museum with the objects that have been found in the site. This is a detail of Cantaber's House, one of the richest houses in the site.
