Photographer's Note
Located in the centre of Portugal, Leiria is a city with a long history.
The town gained prominence in the 12-th century as the southern outpost of the early Portuguese kingdom, in the defence against the Moors.
Leiria castle was attacked and destroyed repeatedly.
Leiria's castle, the present version was built in 1324 by King Dinis as a fortress and summer palace for himself and his queen, Isabel of Aragon.
From the castle you can see miles and miles of forest around you. On the left tower you see one umbrella. That is the place where in our days volontiers take place to spot starting fires at the summer.

Hi Kiks!
Very impressive subject and very impressive POV. The composition is simple but perfect and so is the sharpess and the contrast of your photo. Brilliant colours, too! Congratulations!
