Photographer's Note
An interesting blue and white façade I spotted in a Tavira Street. It matched the bg sky. Tavira is a coastal town in the Algarve of southern Portugal, with access to the Atlantic Ocean at Tavira Island.

Hello Chris,
A nice curving street and quite typical Portuguese houses. It seems you were the only one braving the midday heat. The light and contrasts are very strong but you handled the exposure well.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Chris
A quiet corner but I particularly love the light, shade, detail and their traditional blue & white colours of the buildings. Admire its aged beauty adorned by subtle tones and deep blue sky. Excellent take and tfs

Bonjour Chris,
La rue envoie mon regard au loin ce qui donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des immeubles. La lumière rehausse la beauté des couleurs. Bonne Journée.

Hello Chris,
I visited Tavira on the very first day of 2020 (and have yet to post photos from that trip). It is such a charming town and your photo shows the beautiful façades of the houses in many appealing colours so well.

Hello Chris.
I love the color of the houses in Portugal, this street has a nice perspective with that slight curve towards the end, which makes the frequency of facades more interesting.
Sharpness, lighting, color and magnificent composition; all are perfectly realized factors in this beautiful image.
Well done. I like very much.
Have a nice day. All the best.
Luis.

Hi Chris
its funny, without even looking at the country, I took one look at this and said to myself...I think that's Portugal. Immediately it brought back a flood of memories, even though this is a city I didn't get to see in person. interesting how the door on the far right is elevated almost a foot off the ground, yet the next door down is much lower. I wonder why.
classic shot of these exteriors. looks sweet in this light.
cheers
Craig
