There are many towns that are part of my personal history and Mora is one of them, I visited it first time in 1968, when I knew my Portuguese family and some of my relatives living here. I remember the smell, the sun, the sky, the houses, it is ever building inside my heart. Here an analogical image. I guess this tower is part of the old city hall, but I am not sure.
Mora is located in a hill, rounded by the plains of Alentejo, not so far from the place where Sor and Raia rivers have a meet, creating the Sorraia river. It is the land of sobreiros, rice, dolmens, pastures, and cereals. I intend to take more photos from it in the next weeks.

Mora está situada sobre uma colina, rodeada pelas planuras dpo Alentejo, bem próxima da confluência das ribeiras de Sôr e da Raia, criando assim o rio Sorraia; é terra de arrozais, pastagens, sobreiros, dolmens, cereais.. Aqui vemos uma torre que creio seja parte da antiga Câmara. Pretendo tirar mais fotos nas próximas semanas. Esta aqui é uma velha foto analógica.
