Place : Ericeira
Region: The Ericeira is a situated tourist village the 35 km the northwest of the center of Lisbon, the 18 km of Sintra and the 8 km of Mafra.

Theme: Ericeira/Atlantic Ocean

In this end of afternoon! An hymn to passion!

Most noted are the beaches of thick creamy sand washed by rich iodized kelp and sheltered from a cool breeze with high natural rock formations.
A perfect place to relax or to go sport fishing, hang gliding, surfing or to contemplate an ocean sunset. Ericeira is already known for surfing world wide by professionals or for simple lovers of the sport.
Ericeira is immediately surrounded by a landscape of deep valleys and rising hills from the sea. The landscape is dotted by small villages and farms with strong rural traditions, these complementary byways are worth discovering and feeling.
Come to Ericeira to feel nature at its best and to enrich your memories.

I think that the colors in the sky do not correspond exactly to the reality but it affords a very special mood to the image, full of quietness and serenity

It's funny, because the couple seem to be seated on the deck of a liner, but not! ;D I like how you've framed the scene, with all the elements well positioned in the frame.
The street lamp post is also a nice detail to look!
A nice place to contemplate the sea!

Hello Filipe,

You're capturing well this beautiful scape by a good angle and very excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see Atlantic ocean and coast line dyed to sunset color. It's impressive in person like the old couple who sits on a chair and is looking at the scene calmly in the lookout platform. And, lamp tower at left side draws out an additional good impact in this image as well as the shadow.

Una fantastica composicion con esta bonita terraza, que parece la proa de un barco sobre el Atlantico, la solitaria pareja observando ese ideal colorido del atardecer, transmite una sensacion de placidez y relax, magnifico POV con la farola en primer plano y en la distancia la linea de la costa y el maravilloso color dorado del horizoante.
Perfecta nitidez y luminosidad.
Recuerdo Ericiera de mi visita el pasado Mayo, un enclave fantastico.

the tall lightstand gives height to the otherwise very linear scene.

Excellently captured shot in subtle light with wonderful color gradation in the sky area. The image seems to glow with both the warm colours of the evening and the foreground street lights. Hello Filipe,

A picture with a beautiful composition: the eyes
of the viewer "travels" over the photo from up
to down, from left to the the right and from
the latern to the background and again and agian.
Very nice is the open space, that makes the
picture nice calmness. Light management is also
excellent. A nice extra are the colors from
Mother Nature and it's a picture that's timeless.

In short: goes to my favorites.
