Apesar de a ponte Vasco da Gama (Parque das Nações) ser já um objecto amplamente fotografado no Trekearth, resolvi deixar a minha impressão.

As duas fotos que escolhi (ver What Goes Around Comes Around) foram tiradas num final de dia de Fevereiro com uma luz magnífica da qual tentei tirar o máximo efeito com a minha pequena A510 :)

O que gosto nesta imagem é a ausência de início e de fim. água e ponte suspensas, ligadas apenas por uma luz cansada de final de dia...

This one was taken in Vasco da Gama Bridge, Lisbon, near Parque das Nações (former EXPO 98).

You'll find a lot of shots from this place (in fact there's a lot of bridges in TE :) but I didn't resist and posted this one and What Goes Around Comes Around because of the different POV. Also, I was lucky to be there at the right time in such a beatiful February day.

In workshop you'll find a different approach to the same shot. In fact the WS version was the first one (I chose to post the second) so tell me which one you prefer :)

That is suberb shot! Nostalgic scenery, mysterious symbolism, pastel colours.. outstanding.. but I have serious problem with frame, I woluld easily miss it!

Creo que la composition que lograste es excelente!. Me encantan los colores intensos que tiene la foto y los colores de los dos pequeños objeto que estan en el agua al lado del puente (rojo y verde). La idea de que el puente una ambos lados de la foto sin verse el comienzo y el fin es muy interesante. Excelente resultado. Saludos

Beautiful shot! I've seen alot of bridges on TE, but this may be one of the best. The bridge up at the top of the frame with the bottom dominated by the water is a great idea. I also like the colour of this, with the subtle movement from blue to violet, and the contrast with the warm colour of the bridge itself. I'm adding this to my favourites. Superb!

It's very very nice to read message from You! I thought that something had happened to You, so I'm happy that You're back on TE
especially with such a fantastic photo.
This perespective with Vasco da Gama bridge smaller and smaller in the distance is great. Also these two black strips suits this photo very well! The colours and quality is superb!

Great shot, with lovely lines, curves and complementary colour tones.
I don't think the frame suits the delicate lines and calm atmosphere - to my eyes it dominates too much.
I may try a workshop tomorrow......

Hello,
une manière très personnelle de nous présenter ce pont déjà tellement proposé sur TE.
Le POV choisi permet d'en voir une grande portion qui est nette du début à la fin.
Superbes couleurs.

This is an impressive capture.
Very nice composition to have the bridge lead the eye into the photograph.The colors have done wonders here. The frame with the wide angle effect is perfect for this one.

Great color on the water and the bridge.And yes, I like this wide version more.

Olá Decio,
muito bonita esta imagem da Ponte Vasco da Gama.
As cores estão simplesmente fantásticas.
As linhas ciradas pela estruturta da ponte criam um efeito gra´fico muitoi interessante.
A luz també, está excelente.
So não gosto muito das duas bnandas negras na iamgem.

Hola Decio, espero que me entiendas en español. Me gusta mucho tu fotografía, la perspectiva es buenísima, la curva del puente perdiéndose por la derecha lo hace grandioso, y me gusta mucho el punto rojo en el centro de la foto, contrasta mucho con el azul intenso tanto del agua como del cielo. La luz que lo envuelve todo es realmente buena. Gracias.

hey! I had not seen that one!!! Great! The colors are so nice, so calm. There is a nice blend of warm and cold colors which is very catchy I think. And the perspective...whoaaa!! :) It gives a very esthetic composition, very graphic! And the final touch: the red buoy on the calm water:)

nothing bad to say here, just a big "WOW!".
amazing shot, decio! :-)
the big black frame reminds me of 16:9 or the movies in the cinema,
in fact this could be an opening shot for a movie.
superb composition and pov showing the beautiful bridge making
a bend through the whole photo with marvellous reflections
on the great calm water.

ps: i prefer this one instead of the WS, because of the frame and stronger colors.

Bela composição com o excelente registo dos reflexos e da inclusão da bóia vermelha na imagem. Excelentes cores.
Prefiro esta versão em relação à outra pois a bordadura preta faz salientar melhor a imagem.

Cette image me plait car elle est simple et très belle. Les couleurs sont superbes, on dirait une image de début de film avec ces bandes noires.

Wow, great shot. I totally love the pov and the collorsetting. And for the first time I like the used frame. Normally I'm not a fan of top/down framing, but with this shot it fits perfectly. Classroom example. TFS.
